“When I explain that I have a problem, most people will say, ‘I am sorry to hear about that,’ or will tell me a story about someone they know with a similar situation. A Sertoman will say, ‘How can I help?’”
Since 1950, the Sertoma Club of Norfolk has strived to be a valuable member of the Hampton Roads community.
We are a dedicated group of professionals with a common goal of helping people through local charities and organizations, with a focus on the areas of speech and the hearing impaired. Over the years we have raised more than $1,100,000 for those causes. The Sertoma Club of Norfolk is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and all donations are tax deductible.
Sertoma International is a civic organization with 20,000-plus members in nearly 700 clubs across Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico and the United States. Every year, Sertoma clubs raise more than $20 million for community needs. Through these projects, as well as scholarships and grants, Sertoma clubs return those funds to their respective communities – and they have lots of fun doing it!
Our annual Spring Fever celebration gathers hundreds of Hampton Roads residents in a festive atmosphere while contributing directly to Norfolk Sertoma sponsorship projects.
